A player of Chess, Bridge and Scrabble
And manufacturer of soap.
In languages he's known to dabble,
(With six he manages to cope).
An engineer he's by profession
But poetry is his obsession.
The poet, Nadir Godrej,
Has now reached seventy-five years of age.
Saint Xavier's, both the school and college,
MIT and Harvard in the Bay State
And Stanford by the Golden Gate
Are fountains whence sprang forth his knowledge.
And here he'll speak of many things
But not of cabbages and kings!
